Professional competencies development of sports science students: the need for more entrepreneurship education

Abstract As a high priority for moving the sports industry forward, market ecosystem requires development of professional competencies and improving entrepreneurship education science students. During last years, has gained importance in sector to maintain competitiveness. Thus, universities need promote sciences students’ entrepreneurial improve employability. This research aimed analyze differences between first-year fourth-year students regarding merit within education. Both groups completed set tests presenting success factors. Cognitive abilities were measured with Intelligence Structure Battery (INSSV - Short Form, S2) personality traits Big Five Inventory (BFSI, short-form, S1). Data processed confirmatory factor analysis multigroup moderation analysis. The model showed acceptable fit indices (NFI=0.89, CFI=0.97, RMSEA=0.08). results indicated that strongest effect on work aspects comes from Conscientiousness (β=0.97), Openness (β=0.79), Agreeableness (β=0.72). In contrast, this impact exists Extraversion (β=0.85), Emotional stability (β=0.80), (β=0.80). On another side, an cognitive revealed was produced by numerical ability (β=0.94; β=0.84, respectively). demonstrated sub-samples do not differ latent dimensions human resources assessment.
